I was told the wrong day to work so i miss a day .. Mind you I have only been working 3 weeks i am still in training. My manger called me pissed and that it was my fault. She said ill see you tomorrow but i dont even know when i am supposed work tomorrow. My mom thinks i should go down there today walk in and look at my schedule. So should i wear my uniform? Or just walk in? Plus my mom thinks ill get written up whats that?By the way this is my first job i am 16 & i work at panera.

definitely go down and look at the schedule (in fact, you should check the schedule every time you work to make sure no changes have been made). Take a picture if you have to. And more than likely, your boss has already gotten someone to cover your shift.

A write up is a formal complaint written by management for breaking a rule. It is placed in your personnel file as a record. When you have your annual review, all write-ups will be held against you. Also, some employers have a policy that when you get a certain number of write-ups in a certain amount of time, you get fired.

Don't go in your uniform. Dress clean. Do look at the schedule and no excuses. Say it won't happen again. Never depend on someon to tell you your schedule. Always trust only your eyes. A write up is like a warning. They put it in your file. Your manager will fill out a form about what you did wrong and you'll have to sign it saying its true and you accept it. If you don't you'll probably get fired.

Just walk in. You missed a scheduled shift, so you got written up. You can check with the Manager on how many write-ups it takes to get fired. Two?

Written up means you've been officially warned about your actions. Too many write ups and you're fired.

Just go get your schedule- don't wear the uniform if you're not scheduled

it is your responsibility to know when you work, go in and make sure when you work...
