If you weren't scammed, then why did I bother? You should have looked at my ad more carefully. In a small font, I included the warning, "yes, this is a scam."
I'd call eBay and tell them what happened. They still have that guy on file and could probably call him and or the police for fraud. You'll most likely get the item for free with money back or your money back without the item.
Yes. Open a claim. It will take about a month for you to get your money back. Been there, done that. The thing I "bought" was a computer external hard drive.

file an 'item not rcvd" dispute. "seller has skipped" does not matter.
