To begin with Engen has NO operations in the UK. They are a South African company who only operates in Africa.
Second, ALL recruiting for Engen is through the Careers page on their website http://www.engen.co.za/home/apps/content...
If you did not apply for a job through that site, it's fake
Third, NO energy company anywhere in the world will hire employees without a single face to face interview either at their office or their recruitment agency's office in your country. Nobody can tell anything from a CV as anyone could fake experience and a degree on a CV. That's why you are always interviewed IN PERSON to discuss your education, your past jobs, your experience, etc. You will also need to give them minimum 2 past employment references and for overseas jobs they will also need to see your original diploma and/or certificates as they will contact the educational institutions to make sure the documents are not fake
Never going to happen.
There are various scams. Some will ask you to send money to pay for a work visa (something an employer normally pays for) or ask you to buy special equipment to work from home. Some will send you a (fake) check saying that you should cash the check and forward the money to them (under fake names). When the fake check bounces, you will owe the bank.
Nobody would hire you without even talking to you or seeing you. It's a scam.
