Store employees watching me?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
Ever since about two months ago, I've noticed that employees in all the stores I visit are secretly watching me! Every time I enter the store, an employee appears out of nowhere and begins "restocking" or "straightening shelves" nearby. This has happened to me in multiple, unrelated stores such as Safeway, Target, Old Navy, etc. I have even went to different stores in other cities many miles away and the employees there are still watching me! Is there anything I can do about this?

Maybe they are, but don't take it personally. Those stores must have serious issues with shoplifters. When I go into a store, I am well aware that cameras and store employees may be watching me. But I don't worry about it, because I have nothing to hide. I just go in, get what I want, and leave.

That's what they are supposed to do. YOu must have been the person most likely to be a shoplifter so you may want to think about your appearance. It just might be your age. I worked in a store but not for them and the shoplifting I saw was unbelievable. I know longer get upset when they open my packages and boxes. You do need to know that there are stores that have people watching in the walls. Shoplifting is terrible these days and shops loose a lot and we all pay for it over the long run. I would just smile and wave or not pay attention at all. Don't take it personally because I've seen all shapes, sizes and colors boost some big stuff. I knew a friend of a friend and she was a professional booster. You could order pretty much what you wanted and pay her half price. Then TVs were smaller but she could get them between her legs and walk out and she was a little innocent looking thing. They watch everyone.

Uh, you're probably hot. And the "employees" are all guys, right?

If it's a problem then all you have to do is become not-hot. Don't put on ANY makeup, use an egg-beater to "do" your hair, cover up your cleavage, wear really baggy clothes, cover all the skin that you can (no skirts!!), put on some old shoes that you've walked through the mud in, wear granny panties and pull them up high so everyone knows -- problem solved!!

Or you can just get over it. Maybe take it as a compliment. No one got hurt. Move along.

The store employees have been told to watch by their higher up, but it's most likely due to a problem with theft at those stores

get used to it. It's the times and not you. There's a lot of theft going on these days as well as shooters popping up once in a while so be careful yourself. Know that they're trying to protect you. Just don't walk out with something you haven't paid for and you'll be fine.

Just say NO to Drugs and soon enough, the pink dancing elephants and store employee stalking you, will be a thing of the past.

How many tattoo's do you have visible! How do you dress! How many others enter the store with you! Staff are trained to ensure the safety and protection of their stock is foremost, so if anyone dodgy enters the store, they are watched like a hawk.

Just wink at whoever is watching you, smile, and say hello how are you doing today? That is it.

You cannot stop the store from having someone watch you.

Yes

Are you hot and showing lots of cleavage? I would go watch too :)

Dont worry though, because someday you will be 40 and wishing that someone would actually notice you.
