Ok i know i sound really stupid rn but i have no idea how to ask for change. I have 1$ in quarters so how do i ask for the whole dollar bill. The opposite of asking change for 1$.

Could I get a dollar for four quarters?

go up to a cashier or someone then say

"can you exchange my quarters for a dollar bill?"

easy.

Could I please exchange these quarters for a dollar bill?

"Hi, can you give me a dollar bill for this roll of quarters please?"
