How do I enlist as a navy seal? As a civilian? Do I have to be in the navy to get my contract to go to buds someone please explain and please no copy and paste BULLSHiT thanks

Entering training to become a Navy SEAL is voluntary. Anyone can volunteer, and officers and enlisted men train side by side. In order to enter SEAL training, however, they do have to meet certain requirements. Those wishing to volunteer for SEAL training have to:

*be an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy

be a man (women aren't allowed to be Navy SEALs)

*be 28 or younger (although waivers for 29- and 30-year-olds are possible)

*have good vision -- at least 20/40 in one eye and 20/70 in the other (corrective surgery is also possible)

*be a U.S. citizen

*pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)

Btw, if you do not want the "copy & paste" bull $hit, then do not click on it, $hit brick. I have a job that pays; answering questions on Y!A is just a hobby (and it does not pay). Have you even tried to Google'd this $hit before? It does not seem like you are a SEAL material.

I hope you don't see the Navy's comprehensive job description to be BS

I have doubts that you can join with any guarantee of becoming a seal, as you can get a contract saying you will get mechanics training. I believe it's more of am in house promotion that only a small percentage quality for.
