day is Friday and I was to receive a package that I ordered but no one was home to sign and receive the package so they left a note saying this was the first atempt and blah blah blah. I just wanted know when would be the next attempt they come to try and deliver my package (home delivery)

If FedEx or United Parcel Service (UPS) was delivering the Friday parcel, they will attempt to redeliver the parcel on their next business day, Monday. If the Post Office was delivering the Friday parcel, they will attempt to redeliver the parcel on their next business day, Saturday.

best thing (when it happens to me) is to go to the post office yourself. just bring your I.D.

You have to call them for them to redeliver.
