Fedex lost my computer through shipping?

I sent in my HP laptop for repair, they sent me a box to send back to them, and I followed all of the instructions inside. I went to the fedex shipping place and shipped it, but 17 days later, they say they haven't recieved the package yet. Did Fedex lose my computer? Help please! I didn't get a receipt either as I thought everyone would've been fine.

It's possible it was lost and it's also possible it wasn't scanned properly or there was a malfunction in the scanning. The first thing I would do is call the company you sent it to, to see if they recieved it. If they didn't, call Fedex and they can look up your package with your name and address. They will be able to tell you if it was lost or not. If lost, file a claim asap to get your money back for the shipment and your computer.

Did it come with a pre-paid waybill? You can go back to FedEx and tell them what day you shipped it and they should be able to track it for you. If they get the tracking number, make sure to get a copy so you can track it online.

The shipping label they gave you HAD the tracking number on it. All you can do now is go the the Fedex place and see if they can trace it based on the date you shipped it.

without a receipt you are screwed.
