FAKE SHIPPING COMPANY OR NOT?

Posted at: 2015-07-28
I am trying to purchase a car from abroad through a company called 'Cargo Inter' this is what the seller is sending it through. On google i am unable to find them but they have a website address cargointer.com

please help me to find out whether it is fake or not?

Fake

You NEVER buy a car from abroad. To begin with, unless you are there to actually sign the title transfer, that car cannot even be shipped out of the country no matter how much you paid. No shipping company can ship it to you without this

That site is fake

ANYONE wanting to ship you a car that you have never seen in person is always fake

Tell him to forget the shipping. You are going to come over, inspect it first, then your cousin works for a sea freight company and can ship it to you for free. You just have to drive it to one of their warehouses which are all over the world

Then see how quickly it disappears

Because there is no car, there are pictures of a car stolen off Autotrader or some dealer's website

And you would seriously have a car shipped from abroad without ever inspecting it, verifying it is not stolen, checking that it will pass emission standards, etc? Not to mention it costs about $3000 to ship a car (which the seller will not pay no matter what they claim) and you are also going to have to pay import duty on it when it arrives.

Domain ten days old, and "owner" with a German (mobile/handy) phone number. You have got to be really stupid if you carry on with that "purchase".

WHY ? when there are thousands of cars for sale here. It's an obvious SCAM.

UK

why would you try and do something so risky? - BIG chance of getting ripped off and getting nothing if you are not going thru an established dealer
