Express mail is delivered on Sunday along with anything that Amazon has contracted to have USPS deliver on Sunday.
In most cases no. No letters, no packages. However in some major cities this last Christmas season they did do Sunday parcel deliveries just to keep up with the volume.

This November 2013 Los Angeles Times news story describes the agreement between USPS and Amazon.com to begin at no extra charge delivery of Amazon.com packages on Sundays to customers in certain areas of the country.
