My package was sent via priority mail on Friday the 5th. And on the same day it said it "Departed USPS facility in San Jose California on September 5, 2014 11:47 pm" But there has been no updates since? Is it lost?

Another dumb question for you - why not ask USPS, they have the ability unlike those on YA to trach it for you and give you a decent response

with only 1/2 day work on sat and closed sun., there's no one there to process anything let alone update shipping information. they will be there bright n early on mon a.m. and you pkge. updates will happen sometime on mon. or be delivered soon thereafter. relax. if you were in a rush for the items you should have sent them express mail.

What is the significance of the 6th and 7th? IT'S THE WEEKEND! The post office is only open part of the weekend, and they often don't update shipping status It's highly doubtful they lost your package. You will probe;by see a status update tomorrow, or even get it delivered.
