I'll keep it simple. I ordered something and went for the free super saver delivery as I didn't need it straight away. Next day I get an email saying that it's going to be delivered but I just think they've sent it by mistake. Come home later to find that it's there waiting for me. Checked my account and the receipt and I haven't been charged for postage.

Hs anyone had this happen to them or heard of this happening sometimes? I guess I was just lucky.

Maybe it was a promotional offer...Sometimes they do that.

They might have just sent it for free, if you've ordered other things from them.

You were lucky! The Amazon Prime is really for people who order loads of stuff (maybe in business) and need to be 100% certain to get it next day. I order bits and pieces off amazon using super saver and it's rare that it takes longer than 2 working days. It depends on where you live, whether they have other deliveries in your area, etc etc.

If you selected Free Super Saver Delivery, it will have been free for you and it's normally next day delivery.

I've had things turn up the next day from Amazon :)

Everything I have ordered from Amazon has come early.

if it said "free super saver delivery", why would there be a shipping charge?
