The only thing truly guaranteed in life is death. Everything else has exception.
Amazon is pretty good with their shipping services, but there are times when weather causes plane cancellations or delivery issues. Guarantees as you describe only involve a refund of the postage, and somewhere buried in the site it should state what "guaranteed" actually means. There should normally be a tracking number to see the progress of the delivery and most of the time, you see "out for delivery" when an item is due to be delivered to you.
The only thing "guaranteed" is the two business day shipping. That two days does not include order processing time PRIOR to actual shipment.
Amazon prime is usually pretty reliable, i havent had a problem and i buy stuff off amazon every month lol
"will it actually be here on Monday as they say?"
