I got a cashiers check to pay back my friend but the mobile app for his bank said it wouldn't go through. So I went and cashed the check at Wells Fargo (where the check is from) and did a wire to his bank.

Well his bank show they wire and the deposit despite saying that it wouldn't go through. What is the best thing to do in this situation?
